The Lip Lab Perth began its journey in 2016 as the retail extension of one of Perth’s longest-standing beauty therapy clinics. In 2023, Perth Hair and Makeup Artist Tara Clark took over to breathe new life into the brand and provide the busy women of Perth with makeup advice and experiences as curated and tailored as the custom products we create.

Tara now heads up a team of highly skilled and experienced makeup artists and customer focused mixologists. “As a locally owned and operated small business, we want to build long lasting relationships with our clients to be able to provide them with the products and knowledge they need to look and feel amazing every day AND for the special occasions in their lives”.

    Tara Clark

    Director

    Tara has been a makeup artist for over 10 years, founding her business Black Lash Makeup in 2016 and adding The Lip Lab Perth to her repertoire in 2023. She specialises in soft glam feature enhancing makeup and loves to educate women on how to simplify their makeup routine to look and feel incredible.

    SNR Mixologist/Store Manager

    Dana is a Diploma Qualified Makeup Artist and talented painter which makes her knowledge of colour theory invaluable. She has worked at The Lip Lab since 2019 and loves helping clients find their perfect match in any of our custom products on offer.

    Amy is a Diploma Qualified Makeup Artist and has worked for luxury brands such as Lancome and Estee Lauder Brands. Her customer service is impeccable and she loves the challenge of finding the perfect shade for customers who are unsure what suits them.

    Hannah Tennant

    Mixologist

    Hannah is our resident clever cookie! Completing a double degree in IT, Hannah is also a talented artist and enjoys the challenge of finding your perfect shade, whether that’s a pink nude or a deep blue with glitter!

    Grace Turner

    Mixologist and Events Team Member

    Grace started out with The Lip Lab as a work experience student interested in the makeup artistry. She has since completed a Cert III in makeup and moved on to a full time FIFO role but still makes it back to The Lab to help with our larger groups and events.

    Mya Hathaway

    Jnr Mixologist and Events Team Member

    Mya joined the Lip Lab in 2025 doing work placement while completing year 12 and a cert in Makeup and Beauty. She proved to be a bright and conscientious worker during her time with us so we couldn’t let her go. She’s also great with the kids!
